Darena Solutions announces the launch of MeldRx™ Hub, a centralized directory of FHIR Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for healthcare organizations that are part of the MeldRx™ ecosystem. The Cures Act requires EHRs to publish FHIR API endpoints in a machine-readable and easily accessible format for free. By sharing these API endpoints publicly, EHRs can facilitate the exchange of healthcare data through third-party apps. MeldRx™ Hub helps EHRs and healthcare organizations meet this requirement and take advantage of the FHIR-based apps.

The MeldRx™ ecosystem, which includes ONC certified solution and the FHIR API directory, offers a quick resolution for EHRs now facing ONC Direct Review because of failure to meet the “Certify and Provide” Cures Act requirements by the December 31, 2022 deadline. The EHRs under Direct Review must submit a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to ONC and are placed under a “Certification Ban” until the deficiency is resolved. With streamlined processes, MeldRx™ can help EHRs address the (g)(10) FHIR API, the FHIR API activation, and the FHIR API Directory listing for all providers to achieve Cures Act compliance within days.
